Sperm donation

The UK law currently prohibits anonymous sperm donation and grants donor-conceived individuals the right to access identifying information about their biological father at age of 18. Do you think there should be the option for donors to remain anonymous in order to increase donor numbers, even at the potential cost of a donor-conceived person's right to know their genetic origin?

No. I think finding out your personal medical history is way more important than anonymity for people who won’t even have any parental obligations.

I think access to medical history is a human right. My children are donor conceived & we didn’t consider anonymous donors for that reason

No. There is no reason to keep it a secret. It should be disclosed. Imagine the same donors doing multiple donations continuously... you could unknowingly marry your half brother. In the Netherlands there was a guy who made numerous donations and procreated more than a 500 kids. In Wales a guy helped procreate 180 kids. Those are mass donors. Then yoi have the ones who procreate more than 25 children. On top of that, some clinics lower their standards to maximise the profits and make more batches from one donation without the required paperwork.
