And definitely what you eat helps with toning up as well
Yeah I bought home dumbbells, 3kg and 5kg and I work my arms/chest/shoulders/back (since my underarm is a lil flabby) and then mat core workouts I lie on the floor and scissor kick my legs up and down and that works my core and gives me flat belly. I started salsa at 18m pp and that’s become my passion/hobby the last couple years, we use a lot of core when dancing. But for toning it’s just easy mat exercises you just need to be consistent.
@Kellie I love the idea of dancing for exercise. I just can't figure out what dance style to do that would make it fun.
@Lindsey I try to make sure I have a balanced meal at least once a day. I am more of a snacker than a three meals a day gal.
Hey there! I'm a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, and I have a couple recommendations. First, toning is having visible muscle, so weight lifting is going to make that possible- my go for those starting out is 3 full body days, where you hit every part of your body. For adding muscle, you're going to need to eat in a caloric surplus (yay for more food!) Focus your food choices around protein first and fill in with carbs and fats. Someone your weight needs to eat roughly 100g a day (0.7-1.2 grams of protein per ideal body weight) I have a couple guides I can send if you want them- just send me a message
@Kenosha Zumba or salsa. Salsa also gives me a social life because I get to dress up as well as go dance salsa. Zumba was fun for awhile until I replaced it w salsa
I would say start off with postpartum exercise that help restore your core before toning up
