Refusing Milk

My little girl (4 months old, fully formula feed) is starting to refuse milk, she’ll go 6/7 hours in the day without a feed. She was starting to go through the night until she started refusing milk in the day and now is waking up 1-2 times at night for a feed. I assume making up for the feed she misses in the day. We feed on demand and have tried feeding at the max 4 hour mark from the last feed and she has fully tears and screams that she doesn’t want it we keep persistently to try get stuff in her and does eventually take up to half her bottle but it’s not easy. With us forcing her feeding and her taking bits through the day it does total what she should be having but it’s difficult. Just wondering if any one is experiencing/experienced the same thing.

Hi, I went through that with my baby girl as well. She was around 4 months as well during that time. Does she cry or scream when you show her bottle? It might be bottle aversion bec you might be forcing her alot. There is book by Rowena bennett on bottle aversion. If you follow her rule, she will start drinking milk again. But noo forcing involve. Also it is hard to follow her rule.. 1st day bec she might not drink any milk but it is worth it in the end. Contact me if you have any questions. If you keep forcing her she won't drink milk. I learned hard way as well.

We had this at 8 months all of a sudden. I'm not going to lie we use miss apple..... mines a FOMO baby and would rather be doing anything but sat having milk. So we would put miss apple on and boom she would sit and drink and guzzle the bottle like she had been starved despite an hour earlier having food. She's now 1 and still have milk but is soo much better now

My son did this at 4mo we started introducing baby food

Start her on solids I started my girl 4 months old
