Prenatal

What prenatals does every recommend? I’ve been taking the nature made prenatals folic acid+ dha+ choline. Not sure if that’s enough. This is my second pregnancy but just wanna make sure me and the baby get our necessary vitamins and nutrients in.

Needed prenatals are truly the best out there. It’s a LOT because you have to take 6 pills🙃 but they have at or more than the recommended nutrients for literally everything on the list. Anything where you’re only taking 1 a day does not have nearly enough of the nutrients you need

@Alexandra I’m definitely bad at taking capsules 😅😅 especially multiple of them. Is there any second best option?

I was taking the smarty pants gummies before my doctor prescribed me some prenatals but as soon as my prescription runs out I will be going back to those the bottle come with three flavors: lemon, orange and strawberry

i think the nature made ones are pretty solid, but tbh, it's always good to check with your doc to see if you need anything extra this time around! here's what the 'Heal App' says.... "It's great that you're being proactive about your prenatal vitamins! The Nature Made prenatal you’re taking, which includes folic acid, DHA, and choline, covers some essential nutrients. Folic acid is crucial for preventing neural tube defects, DHA supports brain development, and choline is important for fetal brain development as well. In addition to these, you might also want to ensure you're getting adequate iron and calcium, as these are important for both your health and your baby's development. It's always a good idea to discuss your specific needs with your healthcare provider, especially since this is your second pregnancy. Have you had any specific concerns or symptoms that make you question your current prenatal regimen?
