We did great with the Kendamil goats formula when I had a emergency and wasn't able to BF
We use Bobbie. It works !
I have not tried either of the Kendamil or Bobbie but we used Bubs Goat and it was good. I would say look at Goat's Milk Formula, I read it was easy on the stomach and close to Breast milk.
@Sadelyn I used kendamil ready made for 2 days when my son was born and it made him constipated!
Hi! So there was a recent study on different formulas focused on analyzing heavy metals. Kendamil organic tested higher in heavy metals than regular Kendamil nonorganic. Never used Kendamil, but it was definitely alarming since it’s so popular. We did combo feeding and used Bobbie! Loved Bobbie so much, it was also on the good formula list that came out once it analyzed the formula study research. They’re also super pro breastfeeding and if you go on their website they show you combo feeding schedules.
Thanks, everyone! Choosing products is so overwhelming with so many options for everything!
@Shan do you have a link to the study or how to find it?
Hey so I did EBF then we introduced kendamil organic to combo feed. Took to it straight away on week 3 or 4 without any issues. Im a FTM and havent tried any others though but our experience has been positive. I mix a scoop or 2 into his porridges now hes older
Bobbie is the best
i totally get that, it's smart to have a backup plan! i’ve heard good things about Kendamil, especially since it’s organic, but honestly, every baby is different, so just see how your little one reacts if you end up using it. here's what the 'Heal App' says.... "It's great that you're planning to primarily breastfeed while also considering formula as a backup. Kendamil is known for its organic ingredients and is often praised for its whole milk base, which can be closer to breast milk in composition. Many parents appreciate that it doesn't contain palm oil and uses natural ingredients, which can be a plus for some families. When choosing a formula, it's essential to consider your baby's specific needs and any potential allergies. Have you discussed your plans with a healthcare provider to ensure that Kendamil aligns well with your baby's nutritional requirements?
