I make banana muffins all the time I’m also rubbish at cooking/baking lol. - melt some butter in a bowl in the microwave -mash 1 or 2 bananas in with the butter -add one egg -self-raising flour -tea spoon of baking powder (I very offen forget to put this in and they still turn out fine) - little bit of cinnamon -Bake on 180 for about 20 mins - leave them for a few hours on the side otherwise they’re kinda soggy from the banana
Baby led weaning cookbook app- it’s a few £ and has SO many recipes
Instead of baby snacks I now buy normal breadsticks and rice cakes. If you want to make something, this lady has so many options for veggie crackers and biscuits etc https://www.instagram.com/yummy_little_belly?igsh=dGs3ZnU2OGd5cG5k
Mash x1 banana, splash of milk, and then some oats, mix it in a dish - microwave on high for 3 mins, cut into sticks 10/10 quick well loved snack in our house
Greek yoghurt’s a good one. I love the MJ and Hungryman website for recipes too.
Get the pre made puff pastry sheets and then put literally anything in it, roll it up, slice it, put some egg wash or milk on the tops (basically paint the tops with a little bit, I just use my finger and some milk) and cook for about 15-20 mins on 180/until golden brown. We like to do - pizza rolls: tomato paste, cheese, ham - cream cheese and mashed blueberries ( I don’t like these ones but he loves them) - pesto & chicken - cream cheese and mashed broccoli - cheese and baked beans (normally mash the beans a little)
I used to give all the snacks you can buy but realized most of them have sunflower oil which is toxic. I’ve found some amazing recipes on Tik tok and you get a little video of them making it and what it’s supposed to look like! I’ve done strawberry donuts and all sorts! I would honestly go check it out x
