Starting solids

I’m a FTM and my baby girl is 5 months old and ready for solids as recommend by my GP.I was wondering if there is guidelines or feeding schedule(amount of food) I should follow as I’m completely clueless where to even begin, any helpful advice will be much appreciated. TIA

Im in the same boat, baby girl is 5 months next week and I Would love some suggestions too

My baby girl will be 5 months this week and I saved this link and downloaded the app. Hoping it will help. https://solidstarts.com/feeding-schedules/

When we started solids we tried baby porridge first and then added some mashed bananas or the pouches. But get the solid start app. It shows you the best way to serve food and potential allergies and choking hazards too

Also when they've had enough food they will refuse it. To start with my little boy only had a couple of tastes, Ella's kitchen has some helpful stuff about weaning too

If you're based in NSW when you go for your health visit checks and bring up feeding your nurse will add a QR code sticker to your child's health book. It has the PICNIC programme and all the information you need when it comes to feeding from 6 months to 6 years. I believe you can just go online and access the information though if that's not given where you live.
