Food

Has anyone's 18 month old started refusing food or not eating as much? It's becoming such a challenge, she will suddenly happily snack or have bits of my food even if it's the same as hers but not eat her own

Yep, it’s a nightmare she’ll ask for a snack have 1 bite then refuse to have anymore. Same with dinners will have a couple bites then say she’s finished This morning we had to give her breakfast from my partners bowl so she thought she was eating his breakfast instead of her own

Yeah started at 17 months but turned into a little piggy by 18- hang in there! We ended up leaving like snacks around the house for that month tho 😂 less pressure to eat x

Yep same! It’s become so tough. My 18 month old used to be an amazing eater, but now eats so little and refuses even her usual favourites. Will have the odd snack here and there though but refuses anything substantial or filling. I’m convinced this is also contributing to her now poor sleep and crying when she wakes from naps, at night, or in the mornings. Hoping the last 3 weeks aren’t a sign of things to come for the foreseeable future and it’s just a phase, but it’s hard not to feel deflated and think that this is it and snack life/poor sleep is how it’ll stay.

Yep. We've just got back from butlins where she could literally eat what she liked and she pretty much refused everything unless it was off our plate or it was snacks! She's been like this for a few weeks nos

Yes it has been like this for two months now which I consider a long time to be just a phase Our LG was an amazing eating and now refuse to eat Sometimes she does sometimes no All she want is boobs

Yeah. He had the cold and then never went back to normal I think this age they get quite picky! Just keep trying they will pick back up! Last night potato’s were the worst thing ever when previously that was his go to 🤣

Yep mine just turned 18 months, was a great eater but now started refusing all his meals! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yep! We’re living off of bananas
