Toddler eating...

I can't get my 22 month old to eat much. Besides snacks, carbs, fruits he barely eats.. protein is always spit out and I'm struggling. Tonight I allowed him to have cereal for dinner because he needs to eat or he'll be up multiple times a night looking for milk (trying to wean). Any advice? I worry so much about making sure he gets all the right nutrients and I feel like im failing

My guy is the same exact way. Always has been. Here for solidarity and hopes our LO starts eating more

My 10month old is a lazy chewer so I just went back to basics and puree all the important stuff beef broccoli ect alongside his usual (thickfood.) Yo

My son is obsessed with peanut butter or I blend a smoothie every morning packed with protein and banana for fiber and carbs Dinner he gets his iron I don’t fuss over it. It’s a phase. I’ll be concerned when his doctor becomes concerned

For us, Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and hummus have been the saving graces for his protein intake. He won’t touch much else protein wise. He just recently started eating a little bit of pulled pork, and of course he’s willing to eat the awful stuff like bacon, pepperoni, and beef jerky on the rare occasions that we offer it. Sometimes he does okay with fish sticks but for some reason usually won’t touch chicken nuggets! He loves the serenity kids salmon pouches for whatever reason so I’ll give him one of those when I’m desperate to get him to eat something.

I do the Kodiak protein pancakes and waffles because my guy is the same thing

If he likes sauces then blend up the meat into the sauce. This is what I do for my 2 year old still as he struggles with textures. So things like a curry I’ll blend the sauce and chicken together then just mix it with the rice and he eats more of it this way, same with chilli con carne. Sausages I used to blend with gravy and mix with mash and he’d love it xx
