Has anyone ever contacted with woman’s aid If you have what’s the process? My solicitor advised me to contact them but I am scared and idk if I should. Any advice please ?

I’ve done refuge national domestic abuse helpline they do courses for free, you get your own support worker, they help with court and any family hearings to be your advocate for the DV

Not from personal experience but they can help with attending court, benefit advice, homeless help, they also offer courses (most of them free but some have a small charge), days out, therapy and so much more, Maybe reach out to your Local Women's Aid and explain you've been referred from your solicitor but your unsure of what help is available, they will go through your personal circumstances (if it is safe to do so) and offer you personalised help based off of your situation, x
