My little boy says yes and no to questions - he did say no meaning yes and no for a long time and has only recently started saying yes 😂 x
@Jade to a question like do you want dinner? My son does say yes or no but like to questions in particular xx
@Megan if I say so you want to go to the park, he’ll say yes or no and if he says no I’ll ask him do you want to do this instead and he’ll say yes. He’ll also say yes / no to food and does he want to go to Nursey or watch tv etc . It takes a while to come though as previously he said no to everything xxx
Mine doesn’t answer yes or no either. He says loads of words and is joining words but I’ve noticed he doesn’t do that yet. He lets me know if it’s a no? And if it’s a yes he might run towards the door or grab his shoes or whatever it is but he won’t say yes or no. He’s my 3rd though I’m sure my oldest did this and he’s almost 10 and absolutely fine 🙂 they all have their little quirks! As long as he’s communicating in some way I’m sure everything’s fine xx
Mine usually says yes and no to questions (and has done this for months) unless she has activated selective hearing mode. Her talking is relatively good though.

My little girl has always nodded instead of saying yes, literally only over the last week has she started saying yes. I feel like she's always said no with an attitude 🙈
My son does answer yes and no xx
