Repeating myself constantly

Overall i believe my little ones pretty well behaved but recently she is driving me mad over the simple things! It might be that it’s time to put her pyjamas on and I will call her 5 times and she will STILL blank me. I know if I called her and told her to come and eat a massive piece of chocolate she would be running over I have no concerns over her hearing I know she is choosing to ignore me. Is this a thing? Because I’m really loosing my patience with it!

Don't have any advise I'm aftaid but totally in the same situation with my LG too

My little one is exactly the same right now! I’m trying (when I remember) to only ask once then just pick her up and do whatever it is if she’s ignoring me, because I think she’ll hopefully get the gist that I mean what I say/ ask 🫠

Selective hearing is very normal at any age, unfortunately.

Yes I get ignored totally but she listens to other people!!

Yep - I have to get creative with everything and say things like “oh wow, look at these super cool pyjamas, they look a bit small for me but I wonder if I can put them on” it’s then usually met with, “no, they’re mine! Silly mummy!”

Yes it’s a thing, my little one does it too. They are also trying to push boundaries & test you.

If it's something he doesn't want to do my little boy says "run away" and does just that 😂 eveeeerythhing can be a battle at times, I'm sure it's very normal but equally frustrating 😂
