My dude is 8 almost 9 mo. He is much better but will still lose his ish more often than not. We do not drive far when it’s just the two of us

My son stopped once I turned him forward facing after 2 years old

😂 per kid, each one of different. My youngest just depends what time of the day I put him in the car. Mornings he will tolerate a car ride even if it’s a little long but afternoons and evenings especially you can forget about it. He will cry the entire ride and has been doing it since the first day we brought him home lol I try to bring crinkles books and toys for him to teethe on to distract him

We just play imogen heap’s happy song on blast

Play some baby music on the radio that always worked for mine

That's hard. My kids aren't screamers, but my girl barfed on most trips until she was about 2.5yo. Long trips, short trips, in the middle, or at the end. Even after she went forward facing. Including all over the car seat, of course. We had to pack a lot of towels and extra clothes....

Check your carseat straps and make sure their not too tight. You shouldn't be able to pinch the straps, but they should still be able to breathe deeply. At 4 months, anything could be wrong, motion sickness, music too loud or no music, hunger, gas, boredom, too much wind/not enough wind, too hot/too cold, the list goes on. Keep experimenting with ways to help your baby be more comfortable, and keep listening to those cries. They mean something.

For us it was about 6 months when there wouldn’t be meltdowns, and about a year when she started enjoying car rides

3 months my son stopped screaming but we had someone in the backseat since and he’s now almost 18 months but when i drive by myself, if he fusses at all i just turn on Disney music and sing along and ignore him and he stops after a minute or 2

have you tried imogen heap the happy song? it stops mine from screaming x

It depends what you mean… my eldest and middle are 13 and 9yo and still scream (to each other- in the car) 😓🫩😆🥵

Neverrrrrrrrr lol all the way on up to age 18 😂😭😂
