Speaking

Has anyone else's 13 month old not said any word at all yet? My little boy hasn't and I'm getting worried but don't know if I'm just overthinking it! He babbles that's all

A word as an actual word? I don't think it's time yet for our children to speak? Correct me if im wrong 😅. Does your lo understand when you ask him to pass a toy or to come to you? If yes i think you have nothing to worry about

Honestly I have no clue 😂 yeah he understands no and come here and pass the toy! X

We have only had babbles. You couple probably say she has done mumu and dada and babi but I don't think she knows what any of these mean and she's just playing with the sounds she makes

We’ve had babbles for a while and out of nowhere this last week she says “dog” everytime she sees one (although sounds more like cog 😂), and also randomly started saying “buh-bye” when she waves! I wasn’t expecting either as know it can be a while before they say any words. I wouldn’t worry at all, if they understand actions like you’ve said that’s perfect at this age

Have you had your 1 year check yet? If he’s attempting to babble I wouldn’t worry yet, my little girl has ‘daddy’ ‘night night’ ‘aria’ (sisters name) ‘cat’ ‘up’ ‘uh oh’ ‘wow’ But girls typically develop faster than boys x

Yeah she didn't seem concerned really and back to when we had that he is doing a lot more sounds and things now! She also said he's probably trying to concentrate on walking which he's definitely trying 😂

One of my twin girls has a very wide vocabulary and is picking up a few words a week now. The other however, can say a few. All babies are different, if they’re developing socially in other areas well and babbling I wouldn’t worry at all.

He has a few words. My first definitely didn’t at this age, and now speaks in full sentences at 2.5 years. I wouldn’t be worried
