Yes. My daughter used to say balk instead of milk. Maybe make it a game and see how long you can make the l sound for. Kind of like ssssss for snake. Or break it up by clapping bell-la blue-ey
100% my 5 year old cousin still calls my little girl “kawi” instead of Kali. It comes with time x
Thanks ladies. I didn't want to rush to conclusions because really he had only a handful of words when he turned 2 so he really has come an amazingly long way since then but figured it didn't hurt to ask. Appreciate the reassurance
It is very common for them not to be able to say certain sounds and it takes them longer to work out how to say them and some sounds are harder to make then others it will all come in time and your doing the best thing but showing and letting him her how it sounds maybe let him feel what shape you mouth makes when you say certain sounds with his hands or break words down into sounds?
