Ms Rachel

Are the baby learning videos on YouTube not good for LO? I see people talking about minimising screen time but my LO loves the baby learning videos

We don’t watch ms Rachel we watch ms apple, but lo has learned so much from watching her! I think as long as you’re having breaks from the tv it doesn’t really matter

@Shyla-Karris oh I’ve never heard of that! Is that on YouTube too?

My little boy loves Ms Rachel x

my little one loves ms rachel. i tend to only put it on when i need to get something done quickly as i know she’ll sit and watch it properly, otherwise she’s not bothered by the tv! she has started interacting with them in a sense of playing peekaboo, pointing and clapping etc! i also try to take bits away from the episodes in the songs and to match the ms rachel toys she has like the suprise box and the song to match it. minimizing screen time is great i’m sure, but sometimes the tv is handy especially if it can be used in an educational sense and if your not plonking them in front of the tv with no interaction at all from you!

My boy has learned lots from Ms Rachel and always smiles when she comes on its quite nice. Usually he isn't interested in the telly and never sits still but he enjoys the silly songs 😂

If it's in short amounts. My little girl will watch about 20/30 mins every few days, or once a week it's fine. I'd make sure TV doesn't become routine and that they don't come to expect it otherwise they may throw tantrums and demand screen time eventually. But I really value what she learns from Ms Rachel! She has learned words, animal noises and songs!

We watch Ms Apple instead of Ms Rachel as she’s from the UK. She’s great!! As long as the TV doesn’t become a regular routine & you have breaks then it shouldn’t be a problem
