If old enough you could also try giving some pain relief to see if that helps. Getting outside for a walk would be a go to for me too. Xx

Sounds odd but check that he doesn’t have a hair caught around his toes. Our LO ended up in hospital for a nasty virus and was crying uncontrollably and the doctor in the paediatric emergency checked for this as a last resort. Also probably worth calling health direct if it doesn’t ease as one of the triage questions they asked us was ‘has your child been crying and inconsolable for over an hour’ - only a few thoughts and hope it subsides and calm returns
How old? Just keep going through; feed, burp, change, cuddle… and you’re doing your best! Try carrying outside for a change in temperature and fresh air. Put ear plugs in if it’s getting overwhelming- you don’t have to listen to it full volume if you’re trying to help. If you need a minute, put baby down in the pram or cot and walk away for a minute and take some deep breaths. You’ve got this!
