Fit to fly
Hey ladies xx
Did you guys have to pay for a fit to fly letter?. I asked my midwife and she said to contact my gp. And they quoted me £40🤔?

My midwife did it for me and didn’t charge anything
I had to pay £50 for mine through my GP as it counted as private work.
My midwife said doctors will charge you for one but to get it from the midwifes as they won't charge me. I didn't need one, I was 23 weeks and my airline wanted one for over 30 weeks but I got one just incase. I was never asked for it though
I paid £15 in 2022 for mine. Neither of the airlines I was on asked for it

Yeah mine was £25 from the GP
No. I got mine from my midwife. But I didn't need it as nobody checked at the airport.

i used an online gp, can’t remember the name but was about 10/20 £ i think. they never asked for it though🤷♀️ but better to have it just in case!
