Walks

Is anyone else’s LO just not enjoying walks anymore? I had a really tough time when my LO was first born and really struggled even existing so the last thing I wanted was to get outside and move but the last month I’ve started to go on daily walks with my LO, he’s 5 months now and I really enjoy them and love getting in the exercise but my LO just gets so bored after 30 ish min. Is anyone else experiencing this and have any advice?

I'm really lucky to have rural walks nearby but LO started getting frustrated in the sling. If I want a long walk it'll need to be a pram friendly route and change out the pram toy periodically if outside of her nap time or if I want to walk non-pram friendly routes the sling at nap time works to drift off. If she gets frustrated I just turn her world facing keeping a hand on her head just in case she gets wobbly with the movement or drifts off and I switch back🤞keep trying, even 30 minutes is better than not going!

When you say he gets really bored, what do you mean? Does he start crying when you're out on walks? X

My girl is only 4 months but she gets so fascinated on walks in her pushchair. She doesn't smile or look super happy but she is just taking everything in and stares at everything

Is he in his bassinet or the pram seat? I’ve seen some people say the pram seat has been a game changer for them x

@Becky it’ll start as him just looking bored, even though I’ve got him in the push chair attachment so he can see everything and then it ends with him crying. I think he gets frustrated, I’ve tried bringing a toy with us but it only keeps him entertained for so long so not sure if I should try and bring two toys to switch them out?
