My little girl is the exact same! But I didn't talk until I was 2 maybe 2 and a half so I'm just allowing her to grow and learn in her own time

Yes!! My son is also 18 months and doesnt say a word! Hes only started babbling the last couple of months. Taken him speech therapy but theyve not recommended anything different to what im doing already. Starting to think that its just a delay as oppose to something concerning. Stay positive ! I might just be a delay x

@Kiera-Marie how did you get the referral to speech therapy? My little boy says words but he hums a lot of them/talks with his mouth closed x

My little boy only says a couple of words our health visitor is giving him 3 more months to start before putting him in speech and language therapy. He starts nursery in a few weeks and she seems to think that will help him x

My little boy only says mama and that’s it. He doesn’t really babble much. I’ve tried to get him referred for speech therapy but I’ve been told to wait till he’s 2. I actually saw the dr today and she said not to worry and there’s alot of kids who don’t start talking until they are 2 x
