Walking

How long after baby started walking did they fully use walk as their mode to get around? My child took his first steps like 2 months ago after a lot of encouragement from us but only started walking and is walking around from sofa to table, play kitchen to door the past couple days, he still crawls as I assume it’s quicker to get around. I can sense he’s still a bit afraid and looks to me with scared eyes sometimes. I’m keen to know when they fully walk without being scared anymore and use that to get around. I’m looking forward to running around the park with him this summer. TIA x

My little one is 14 months, he can walk at home but still holds my finger most of the time when outside because I think of grass and more bumpy roads, also doesn’t walk in shops even if it’s straight, but I can see him getting more and more confident with that as well

about 3 -4 weeks from the first step to running , but she was croozing around furniture before, firs step is that she stand up in the midle of the room and started to try to walk without holding

My little boy started walking at 12 months at home and would crawl everywhere when he gets out of his pram rather than walk. Only yesterday did he just randomly start walking around the shop and he's loved it and wants to walk everywhere now. I think one day it just clicks and they go for it xx
