Failed transfer

We had a failed fresh transfer in April, it was devastating as we’ve been trying to conceive for over 3 years. I never thought we’d have to go down this route but we managed to get 4 embryos frozen 🤩 Currently waiting to do our FET which is scheduled for June, I guess I just wanted to know other people’s experiences Did your FET work after a failed fresh transfer? We’re going on holiday to Dubai at the end of this month to relax us before our FET but I can’t help being negative about it all

Keeping yourself relaxed is the main thing. I don’t know your history, but stay positive and positivity will come your way. I had a FET, and it worked the first time — I’m due in November. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you! If you have any questions re FET, reach out ♥️

I’m in a very similar boat! Been TTC for 2 years, had our first IVF cycle in March with a fresh transfer 24th March which unfortunately failed. We’re hoping to have a FET in June too. I’m trying to focus on me & my husband for these next 6 weeks while we wait it out as we’ve spent 2 years basically just talking about TTC, infertility, IVF, etc. x

We have been trying to conceive for about 3 years. Had one miscarriage and 4 failed transfers through IVF. I was due to start medication in preparation for our 5th last month and discovered I was pregnant naturally. Currently 7 weeks x

2 fresh transfers one chemical and one missed miscarriage. 2 FET’s one now 21 months and 25 weeks pregnant with the second. So FET’s worked better for me. Although I am also a strong believer in it is down to the embryo. But I think I was more relaxed for my frozen, and I did natural so I feel like that helped me not stressing about taking meds.

i had a failed fresh transfer with my only embryo from my first ivf round, which was gutting, but then had a successful fet after my second ivf cycle (which was a freeze all due to my hormone levels). currently 12 weeks pregnant with that one. i didn’t do anything different in preparation for the transfer (although did up my supplements for the cycle itself). if anything i was a little more relaxed about diet etc ahead of the transfer because i’d been so strict for my failed fresh transfer, which obviously hadn’t worked. wishing you all the best with yours x

My first transfer failed last year despite the fact that it was PGT tested. My second transfer worked and I am now 11 weeks pregnant. Previous failures don’t predict your next transfer result. I also believe it’s mostly down to the embryo. Remember that statistically, it takes on average 3 embryos for one live birth. So there is nothing wrong with you, it’s a matter of finding the right embryo under the right protocole.

Thank you for sharing your experiences and for your advice ladies. It’s nice to read that there are others experiencing what I’m going through, I guess it’s just nice to know I’m not alone. Fingers crossed for you @Katherine hope everything goes well for you and congratulations to the rest of you ladies 🥰 Let’s hope this next one will finally give me what I want 🤞🏽❤️
