My daughter is the same way, she is fine all day, plays on her own, doesn’t yell and cry and then my husband comes home and she immediately will start whining, crying and wanting to be held.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one experiencing this. 😭 My husband comes home, and my son does a complete 180. He acts out, zero listening ears, etc. But he also started having this strange dynamic with my husband, where he will cry for him during the day, get so excited when we video chat with him on his lunch breaks. But when my husband is home, any time he tries to talk to our son, our son just screams at the top of his lungs at him telling him to go away. 😕 I’m wondering if it’s just because he’s upset that my husband is gone a lot (he works two jobs).
Same here! When it's just me and Hannah, we're best buds. When her dad is home, she turns into a terror! I don't get it 🥲
No you are definitely not alone my son does the same thing he has actually gone as far as hitting his dad and bite him as well.
@Jessica my son does the same thing he yells at his dad rages out hits him bites him yells and screams at him and will tell his dad to go away and get out of the house. And my husband doesn’t work he is with us all day. I’m glad to know we aren’t alone
My son definitely does this. Like he thinks the rules are different when we're together or something. the best thing is to just present a united front. make sure you and SO are on the same page.
