Running

Hello I’m 7th if into 8 weeks PP and started running again (couch to 5k). I feel nervous running and loose if that makes sense. I used to be a runner prior to being pregnant and working on getting back to it. What waist trainers do you recommend for running and that will help keep everything tight to run comfortably?

Hi, I’m sorry I don’t have a suggestion. I am following along for the comments. I am also 7 weeks PP (unplanned c-section). I’m going to start actually exercising again this week!

Typically wait for 12 weeks to start impact training for running. Before that start with a lot of pelvic floor and hip retraining to be able to handle the impact and amount of ground contacts that are required with running. Waist trainers would not be what you need

Do not start running until your pelvic floor is healed, strengthened and ready to run. Pelvic floor physical therapy will help way more than a waist trainer. Waist trainers can cause pelvic floor and core issues.
