@Kordan yes I’m polish and so is my partner
@Wiktoria that can cause a bit of mix ups with speech, especially if you use both around him. Its not bad!! Especially if child is meeting milestones. Sometimes it just takes them longer to get into a habit of speaking. I would run it by the doctor just to make sure tho if he not meeting other milestones just incase something might be different
@Kordan no he’s meeting all other milestones but I’ll double check just in case then thank you so much
try putting on miss rachel my daughter has picked up a lot of words from her
My daughter is the same, was saying 6-10 words at her 1 year check and then stopped, mainly does “mama” or “da” and points, makes noises etc. Has complete understanding in what I’m saying to her though and does respond back sometimes with a definitive yes or no so I’m not worried. Every now and then she shocks us with a new word or phrase and then doesn’t say it again for months 😂 @Kordan thank you for confirming this! I always had my suspicions we might’ve been confusing her (I’m English and my husband is Welsh, so two very different accents)
Are you bilingual by any chance?
