Fit to fly note

I asked my midwife for a fit to fly certificate and she told me I would have to go online and get a private one as they don't do them anymore because of liability... Has anyone else been told that or should I ask my GP or another midwife?

Hey partner is a GP nhs can’t do it. Private only I’ll attached a link below It’s £49 Is you’re going on easyJet u don’t need one Which insurance did you go for btw? Here’s the link for private note https://www.zoomdoc.com/product/fit-to-fly-certificate-pregnancy

That’s really odd as my midwife did my fit to fly when I flew last month at 32 weeks x

@Alyssa some still do but it’s rare they have a new guideline and gps in nhs they aren’t insure to grants that x So it’s best to always do private

I got a fit to fly letter basically saying my due date and I’ve had no complications with my pregnancy and I’m not high risk x
