One and Done?
Need some advice and thoughts please.
I have a lovely little girl who is 4 years old and starting school this year.
I have always thought i was one and done, but recently things have seemed easier and a fog has lifted making me start to consider having a second, however husband is firmly one and done.
My little girl is super social and is always trying to make friends and play with other people when we are out, which is making my heart hurt thinking of her being an only child and not having anyone to play with as she grows up.
i need advice, will i regret not having a second, will she be ok being an only child.
Please give me all your stories of one and done or being an only child.
Thank you ✨
She will be perfectly OK being an only child. My husband is an only child and he just made really close friends from a young who he's still in contact with now at 40. We only have 1 child and have said we are one and done, but recently saying she doesn't have a brother and sister, but then she realised she'd have to share mummy so said she doesn't want one. I thought I always wanted at least 2 kids, but I can't imagine it, and it actually upsets me a little to think of having to split my time between 2 (don't really know how else to explain it)
