Not playing his game and now he's mad
Last night I wanted to order take out for dinner. My husband is the picky eater so I ask him everytime what he wants. Majority of the time, it's "idk" or "Whatever you want" but then he won't like what I suggest. This can go on for hours until I just pick something that he may or may not like. He will complain if its something he didnt want even though he didn't give a suggestion! Once he laughed and told me, "Its funny when I do it"...after years of doing this i dont find it funny
Last night he did the "idk" and then turned down everything I offered then went silent. Instead of continuing on with guessing what he wants I just went "Nevermind" and went to bed without dinner. He then proceeded to get mad and heat up some leftovers. Now the next morning, he hasn't spoken to me all day 🙄. Like why does he think its cute to do that and then once I dont want to play now he's mad. I'm not a mind reader tell me what you want or go hungry! Hes the picky eater not me so I always try to accommodate him but I'm tired. Like why would someone do this?! Any suggestions on how to make it stop.

Order food for yourself and just eat it lol. If he were in a restaurant and the server came and asked what he wanted and he said idk they wouldn’t give him anything. I was gonna say he’s behaving like a child but my just turned 3 year old doesn’t even do this if I ask what he wants to order he tells me an answer or at least agrees to a suggestion 🙄
I would repeat the same thing every night 😂 I won’t even ask what he wants to eat, I’ll get/make what I want and then make him a plate if he eats good if he doesn’t great. I’ll eat it the next day 😂😂 You’re literally his wife not his mother
Yea im just gonna start ignoring him and ordering my own food more.

You were 💯% in the right. He shouldn't rely on you to always figure out dinner, then complain. I would just do your own thing for food and he can decide himself if everything you pick isn't to his liking. That's probably more expensive but it may fix the problem?
