Partner going to the pub 🤷🏼♀️
Where do we stand?
I’m home ofc with baby and dog, cleaning making sure tea is ready etc and looking after baby 5 weeks post section.
He works 8-5 Monday to Friday. Thursday he has football at 7 it’s a 30 min game but they have drinks after so not home until 9/9.30.
Every Monday and Friday he goes to the pub after work too until 6.30/7.
Am i unreasonable for being a bit pissed off?? I know he’s back at work and needs to unwind etc but when do I get to unwind?🤣 maybe it’s hormones and I’ll get over it!

Not unreasonable at all. My partner has gone out a couple of times to watch football, play golf etc.. but always asks if I feel okay about it. If I say no, he doesn't go. I would share how you're feeling and hopefully he reduces the amount of days he goes out. I'm nearly 4 weeks post section, so understand how hard it is some days x
No. He is a new dad too. He should be home learning and do most things at home to allow your recovery. His attitude is not normal

Not unreasonable at all in my opinion. Yes our husbands / partners are back at work, but we are at home caring for a tiny human and trying to keep on top of other things. I'm glad when my husband gets home from work and is happy to help out with our baby, to give me some time or time to do other things. It's a team effort in our house. Maybe share with him how you are feeling, he may not realise and hopefully he will take it on board x
