I won’t be, even at 1 they’re only supposed to have a max 2g a day and so much already has it in they will easily get that without adding to it. I also don’t really add salt anyway when I cook for myself other than certain things, I just think it’s unnecessary and there’s much better and healthier ways to add taste
Not going to and don't really to our dinners anyway
I’m not adding salt there’s no need to me, I have been adding in herbs etc and cheese if I wanted some salt in it. Same with sugar I don’t mind if it’s fruit but not sure on added sugar still
Why would you need to? I get not being so cautious of pre-salted foods as they get older (I’m still checking things for reduced salt probably for a few more years), but I’ve not added salt to anything home made, other than egg since pregnancy and haven’t noticed a difference personally, so I don’t think it’s necessary when you could just add other herbs and spices x
I won’t be adding any salt to my son’s meals ever. My mum never cooked with salt but there was the option to add salt. It’s taken a while for my husband to get used to cooking like this but he’s finally got there, so I won’t encourage him to change back. There is sooo much salt added to our food already, my husband might use a jar of something to cook with which tends to have salt, but I prefer to cook from scratch and avoid where I can. I do use a lot of herbs and spices though - my son loves a spicy curry or chilli x
My son is 3.5 and I still don't add salt to his food...
Never limited it really been having it since 8ish months
My girls 1 today and I’ll still be carrying on taking her portion out first or making her food in a separate pan rather than adding salt, there’s salt in alot of things she eats already without you realising it’s not needed to add more to meals when jarred sauces ect already contain a lot x
