Weaning- slow progress?

Hi, my baby girl is now 7months and I’ve probably given her about 8 different veg purees so far ( as well as in stick form on the side each time for BLW also). She had a little issue with her health and I was advised to pause weaning, and then got so busy with other serious matters in my life. I gave her some swede the other day and she seems to have gone backwards- finding tasting food like chewing on lemons and not being too open with tasting. I see some posts of people giving breakfast and lunch to their 7month babies and it’s making me stress that I’m so behind? Like I can’t imagine her actually eating as a ‘ meal’, it seems like it’s all just tastes still at the minute. Am I super behind??!😓😓

We’re 7 months this week and similar to you. He’s only tried 4 diff veg so far on 4 occasions , as I was really busy and away a lot. I googled it and it says to start with a few foods by 7 months so we’re all good! It’s not going to be an isssue ! And Google says take it slow and don’t stress over it. Food before 1 is just for fun It’s all good 🥦🥒🥑🥕

I’m also very similar to you both. My LO has tried 6 different fruit/veg and then had a massive eczema flare which I’ve been battling with over the last month on top of going back to work. Weaning most definitely took a backseat!

Similar situation here too. My LB has only tried a handful of foods and doesn’t seem to be in any rush!! 7 months tomorrow.

Ikr! I can’t actually imagine her eating properly any time soon😓

Don’t rush it, it’s not a necessity it’s just an experience at this point for them! Don’t stress yourself out over it, formula/breast is still their main source it’s just a tasting experience for now💜💙

My LG is 9 month and is still not having full meals. She just messes sometimes with the food which is okay. She has started to refuse the spoon or jus t have a few mouthfuls of whatever I am offering her. I’ve found it really hard as she hasn’t been keen on veggies so struggle on what to offer her
