Breakfast

Hi all, my baby hates to be spoon fed and has done really well with BLW since 6 months (currently 10.5 months). He won’t eat any porridge or weetabix for breakfast and so he tends to have something on toast, banana pancakes or fruit and yoghurt for breakfast. He used to enjoy porridge bars that I would make but now seems to have gone off them. What else could I give? I feel like I default to toast a lot!

I don't think there is a problem having the same things for breakfast on repeat, it's what I do for myself and sets quite a good routine.

Could you try egg cups or little omelettes for them?

we are on a toast diet too 🤣 have u tried scrambled egg? banana loaf? crumpets? bagels?

My son hates being spoon fed too. I try doing things he can pick up. We do chia seed pudding, scrambled oats, french toast with fruit inside, beans on toast, avocado and scrambled egg, broccoli and carrot frittata, cheesy egg rolls, coconut yoghurt and mango, lightly fried banana in the pan with peanut butter on toast.

Scrambled/boiled eggs, crumpets, muffins, omelette, french toast with fruit/peanut butter etc

Thanks all! I have given crumpets too but I will definitely try eggs! He’s had them before for lunch etc but never at breakfast time

Cheerios are quite low sugar, egg muffins, we do cereal, yoghurt with fruit. Chia pudding, fruit waffles, savoury muffins
