Eating

My girl has also been weird lately too maybe a growth spurt? Last week she was drinking 5oz (formula) every 3 hrs but this week she’s been back to 4 every 3 hrs

My LO eats 5oz every 3 hours. First feeding is at 7am last is at 7:30pm

Mine eats 6 oz every 2.5-3 hours and she gets some mashed banana throughout the day (her pediatrician approved)

My LO is 4 months on Friday but the last couple of weeks have been weird eating a little less. He did have a cold but the eating continued to be different. We’re averaging 30ish oz in 24 hours (was 34 prior). Usually 4oz every 2ish hours but has also been snacking instead 2oz here 3oz there. I keep track of total and his diapers have been fine so we’re just going with it

Mine has decided he doesn’t want to eat in the morning til after his morning nap then he goes 3, 3.5

@Jessica thank you for sharing this cuz same!! Its so odd! He still has a feed overnight and eats enough but have definitely been thrown off by that

@Leighann he’s been pooping & peeing no problem but in the morning he just won’t really eat he’ll have an ounce but then stop. So today actually I’m like ok, I see it, so tomorrow I’ll not feed him til after his nap so he can have a full feed. I do BF throughout the night so idk if he’s full from that still. Not starving my kid but he’s gaining weight, pooping and peeing so I see it as he likes brunch lol

@Jessica I totally get it. Mine wants to feed to sleep for his first nap so he might drink an ounce but doesn’t really want anything for a couple hours after wake up. I planned on holding off tomorrow’s a.m attempt because I think it’s what is causing or snacking issue (in addition to some shitty naps)

My boy has been 6 or 7 every 2 1/2-3 hours but he has long stretches that he sleeps at night..

My baby drinks anywhere from 4-6oz every two hours. In order to keep a baby properly hydrated they should be consuming 24-36oz of fluid per day. My baby has about 8 feedings a day, consuming around 32oz.

Depends on if baby is formula or breastmilk fed as both process in the body differently. My breastfed baby eats every 2.5-3hrs about 3.5-4oz
