I spoke with my consultant as due elective c section in around 3 weeks and didn’t want to risk bringing on labour early but she encouraged me to start straightaway! Currently 35+6 and got my first (very small) bit last night. Could always chat it through with your midwife if you’re worried as they’re always happy to help with all that☺️x
My midwife has told me that I can start next week (36 weeks)! X
We started at 36 weeks ☺️
With my first they advised I could start at 36 weeks, now with my second they advised 37 weeks. I think either is fine, however they did mention that if you experienced contractions to stop immediately.
Had my midwife appt today and said anytime from 36 weeks is fine 🥰

I think the recommendations is to start after 37 weeks as the oxytocin’s can induce labor x
