I just noticed something

I haven’t stepped foot in a grocery store in almost a couple of weeks to a month. I actively avoid going grocery shopping now bc of how expensive is smh. Either my husband goes or I’ll bulk shop and try to stretch it to make it last. Smh, there used to be a time where I actually didn’t mind grocery shopping and actually kinda enjoyed it, but now I literally tense up at the thought of it. Like if it weren’t bc of my kids, I probably wouldn’t even cook. Matter of fact, I don’t want to go anywhere anymore these days. Id rather just stay home and enjoy my rent. Im cooked y’all. Am I just getting old or am I realizing adulting is some bullshiii

My thumb accidentally hit no while I was reading but trust me I feel you on that . Food is expensive and so we try to make things stretch too. I’m lucky my kid is thrilled with hot dogs and Mac n cheese and other simple things but fruit costs are through the roof

I’m the same! I just use what I have I hate shopping it’s stressful. I avoid buying anything unless I really cannot use what I have in my fridge to make a meal then I’m forced. And even then. I do a pick up order lol

This is why my husband does all the shopping and we mostly use grocery pickup

I usually do pickup so I can easily keep track of how much I’m spending. I eat gluten free so all grains and breads are like twice as much money 😭

Everything just to expensive 🫠 it's so hard to make alot of thing stretch sadly but I hope cost go down for cooking food since its practically the same cost to order food as it is to make something what stresses me out bit time

I like grocery shopping but it’s so expensive and with the kids it’s overwhelming asf, pickups and wic run ins it is lol

I go to central market & trader Joes, Costco on occasions. It makes the shopping experience easier to enjoy, when it isn't a store that's chaotic

If Sam’s club was closer I’d only shop there but I relate to you

Can't relate as I love cooking and going out and hate staying in because it makes me feel absolutely miserable. Also found since being in the UK the grocery shopping here is miles cheaper than Canada

I get groceries delivered and I go inside a store about once every 2 months.
