First time mom nervous about giving birth

I’ve just got my induction date for next week and after they told me I cried the whole way to my NST appointment. I feel like I have been suppressing my nerves. I don’t have my mom or any family close and my husband hasn’t been the most understanding about how worried I am. I think I’m just generally nervous with me...

Low- lying placenta

Hello! Has anyone here dealt with a low-lying placenta? I was referred to a specialist, and they want to do a cervix check, but I feel like it might be too early for that. Would love to hear about others’ experiences!

Birth Trauma/PTSD

Before my birth I was not scared of anything medical. I’ve had a couple of vaginal examinations in the past and I had a sweep before my birth and it never bothered me. I had a traumatic birth, I was in labour for 2 days and had 2 failed epidurals, emergency section (where I felt a lot of it), I had to be put under...

Opinion: Over 70s should be required to take a driving test every year. (Only practical not theory, heavily subsidised by the govt in terms of cost)

I swear every time someone pulls out and almost hits me, goes to my left when it’s my turn at the roundabout [UK], is going at a completely erratic speed, etc. I look and there are old.
