I might sound horrible but I really don’t want to throw my baby a big party. Everyone keeps asking. I love my family but I just feel like it’s a waste of money for something that she’s not even going to remember. I feel guilty I want to do something small with us and just a smash cake.

I was 38&3 when my water broke suddenly at 10:45am, he was born 12 hours later! Labor got way more bearable after the epidural but I pushed for 3 hours until I was so exhausted we did the vacuum assisted delivery to avoid a c-section. Was a super intense couple minutes but then he was out. I’m so relieved it’s over!
