I have got my section coming up after 2 weeks. Super anxious and terrified as never had any operation, even scared of needle lol. Please advise me to boost my energy and courage both up 😭
Looking to see if anyone else had experienced this… I am 32w+2 and I lost my mucus plug last night. I remember hearing in my antenatal class not to call the hospital but it is stressing me out and I don’t know if this is normal 😩
Might be a really stupid question, but should I be packing nappy bags in my hospital bag? I surprisingly haven’t seen it on any of the “what to pack in hospital bag” lists, but just realised that they might be needed? No idea! 😂
Can anyone recommend knickers post c section to help protect the scar/ prevent rubbing? Thanks!
For those of you that have had your babies would you be induced again or go straight to a c section?
Is there any specific feeling of losing mucus plug? I still didn't lose mine and I’m just curious if there any specific feelings. Also a bit stressed that i will not notice or i will loose it while im on the toilet.
How long if you were induced did it take? Or did it end C section?
I’m currently 40+5 and this morning I think I started having contractions. They weren’t as bad as I’d expected (more like severe period pain). I started timing them and for 2 hours they were around 20 minutes apart so I was pretty sure this must be early labour. Everything has totally stopped now. I haven’t had any ...
I just had a friend deliver her baby via C-section. I want to get her a care package for when I see her next but I’m not really sure what to get her. I had a vaginal delivery 2 years ago so I’m not sure what products would be helpful for her recovery. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Watery or white discharge? What does this mean? I’m 37 + 2
I’m 36 weeks pregnant with my second and I have been expressing colostrum the last couple of nights. It’s not as thick as it was in the beginning. It’s starting to go more watery. Have any of you experienced this?
Is it effective? Does it hurt? How soon after can labor start? Ect?
When is everyone getting their hospital bag ready? I’m due 21st January
I’ve had discharge all the way through but last day or so it’s been really thick and white and this morning I feel like I’ve woken up and constantly feeling wet? Is this normal?
I’m having one on Tuesday (39weeks) due to reduced movements Has anyone had any experience? I’m so so nervous can’t stop thinking about everything… is that normal
Can I ask for recent experiences with giving birth at darent valley? They had a good reputation when I had my daughter but I’m a bit out of the loop now! Thank you
Hey guys, so I had a sweep Thursday 10am at 39+3 and was having light contractions that got a bit more painful around 11pm. Went to hospital as they picked up and was every 3 mins lasting 1 min a time. Got checked and had progressed since my sweep but not actually in active labour. Got sent home but was given codine...
Im feeling pain & pressure on my lower abdomen, I’m not sure if it’s babys head, it doesn’t last long but it comes & goes so I’m not sure if they’re practice contractions or not. How do i know when it’s the real thing ?
Has anyone had experience of this and what did you do? I’m booked in for my elective at 39+4 and terrified about going into labour early. My first baby came naturally 3 days after due date
