I’ve just introduced formula after having breastfeeding challenges. My 3 month old is having around 8 formula feeds and 2-3 bottles of expressed milk in 24hrs. The formula I’m using is Kendamil and says in 24hr for her age she should have 5 feeds. Anyone else had their baby go over the suggested amount? Not sure if ...
Did anyone try it? 🍼Any feedback?
My LO is 11 weeks and I’m dreading every feed, she is bottle fed and in the middle of a feed she will just begin to refuse the feed, I have been back and forth to the doctors she’s on omeprazole for reflux. She is getting so worked up and screaming every time I put the bottle to her mouth. It’s making me have a brea...
So bottles that have breast milk in them do not need to be sterilised. They can be washed in hot soapy water and rinsed to be used again. However, breast pump equipments says it needs sterilising after each use but surly if washing bottles with soap and water is enough the same can be said for breast pump equipmen...
How do you combi feed I want to breast feed as much as possible but I’m scared my milk is either low or not very fatty and baby is not putting enough weight on and thinking of adding a bit of formula but not sure how to do this without over feeding but also giving as much breast milk as possible!
My little girl has been on comfort milk since she was 10 weeks old and this has been so much better for her. She’s only 10 months so not looking to give her cows milk yet but I’m just wondering what others have done in this situation? She’s had full fat cows milk in cooking, Weetabix etc. did you introduce it slowly...
My little daughter (6 days old) lost around 12% of her birth weight since the initial breast feeding was not as easy as expected and it has taken me a couple of days to produce enough milk for her (yesterday it was around 25-30ml per feed). The doctors were not concerned about her since she was otherwise healthy an...
My little one is 15 weeks tomorrow. He was taking bottle great but now recently he Bites down on it and almost tries blowing bubbles on it. Is it the formula? I had to change from kendamil to enfamil but this was like 2/3 weeks ago and he was drinking like 30oz a day last week but now is drinking between 20-25oz. ...
Hey does anyone have any advice? My HV literally told me to just transition straight over, however I've decided to gradually add the cows milk to my little ones formula. She's currently on three bottles a day. Wake up, one around 3pm (which she loves) and bed time. Bed time is always hit and miss depending on how mu...
How do you all prepare nutramigen formula please?
Just wondering if anyone puts their mam bottles in the dishwasher?
My baby is 8 weeks and has started crying after each feed. He’s combi-fed, I’ve tried upping the amount of formula he has but he just throws it up. He settles after being burped but can’t work out why he cries after every feed. We’ve changed his formula 2 weeks ago and he seems happier on it but still cries. Anyone ...
Has anyone stopped sterilising babies bottles and dummies yet? Not sure when to.
Any pros or cons massively appreciated! Me and my partner can’t decide and there seems to be so many! ☺️
4 month old. Formula drinking, moves away from the bottle when drinking milk and always throws up after milk. In evening she cries a lot . Any advice? Thanks
You know how after a baby drinks formula out of a bottle it’s only good for an hour after that? Does the same apply to milk in a sippy cup? My son barely drank any of his milk last night so I put the cup in the fridge, can I use it today? 🤷🏻♀️
Hi, this is my 3rd baby so I should have more knowledge but I seem to have forgotten. With my 1st I used Tommy bottles and then 2nd used Dr brown as he had colic now with this one I intend to use Mam. Now what's the best way to sterilise them? I read you can use the microwave but is that ok? I don't have much kitche...
Hi I am 30 weeks +1 when should I start buying formula for my unborn baby ?xx
I’m planning on formula feeding my baby and considering using Aldi’s Mamia infant formula. Does anyone use this and can tell me how it is? I’ve heard it’s a copy of Aptamil but almost half the price which is super helpful, but haven’t seen of a lot of people actually using it.
Mine is 8 weeks old I always make him 150ml but some times he doesn’t take all of it as he’ll fall asleep on the bottle. He was going every 3-4 hour 4.5 on a night. However he seems to have slipped backwards and has started sometimes demanding every 2 hours which makes me think I haven’t satisfied him??? But then...
