Reviews? Thoughts? ✨For my future formula fed baby
My little one is 6 months old now and EBF since birth. Had expressed milk as top up feeds in a bottle pre 10 weeks old as he had slow weight gain, so took a bottle well and hopefully would again. Thinking of introducing a bottle at bedtime (but still breastfeeding during the night) so my husband can help with the ...
We use boon nursh but my son is grabbing the holes and yanking on them which is causing him to take in air so we wanna switch to a different bottle. These are ones we haven't tried yet.
What size test are people using, I’m still using size 1 teat on my mam bottle, have been since baby was born. How do you know they are ready for the next teat?
What milk are you offering after / how often please?
Hey mamas! Due in February with our one and only and planning to exclusively formula feed. I know there are lots of different methods, boiling, dishwasher, bottle sanitizer machines, etc. what have you tried? What would you recommend? What would you avoid?
My little one is a week old today and he was feeding every 3 hours (sometimes 2 depending if he cried for it) and now we are just purely demand feeding, since then he now feeds every 1-1.5 hours and is only taking 30-50ml rather then a whole bottle like he did on the 3 hour feeds. Is there a way to try stretch feeds...
I have always exclusively pumped for my little boy who is 4 weeks old (he would never latch). He has gone from last week drinking 3oz every 2-3hours to chugging 4oz every hour this week! Im not sure I can keep up with the new demand. I’m worried because I’m not managing to eat or drink enough that my milk isn’t fil...
Any advice I’m wanting to change over to bottles I am literally constantly feeding him a lot!! Feels like he’s on me constantly, He don’t go 10mins during the day without it I no sometimes it’s comfort thing but I cannot get on and do anything during the day like housework/cook my partners doing it all but I would l...
Our little boy is 3 weeks and 2 days old and he's on 4oz of kendamil and he's wanting it every 2 hours! It was 3oz every 3 hours last week. Is it normal for him to want this much? He doesn't always drink it all, sometimes he does Just feels like he's always hungry!
Also…I’d like to possibly continue to breastfeed if he wakes over night..anyway I could keep enough supply for that or might as well just call it quits? I do not want to pump.
Hi, does anyone else’s baby refuse to eat? LO is 16 weeks and barely makes 700ml a day on Nutramigen Puramina. He often refuses the bottle, turning his head crying but other times absolutely tanks 180. The GP won’t try him on any other formula and we have been referred to the paediatric dietician but the appointment...
My little one has about 4oz on each bottle, how long do you allow to go between feeds if not seeming ‘they’re hungry’ (only just increased/changed teat as was taking ages or not finishing a bottle) Sometimes she just has 2oz and then seems grumpy and eating 2 & bit hours later. So now she’s taken more.. when would ...
My baby boy won’t drink cold milk… He’s used to milk from the time tipper machine at the perfect temp, He still has some milk about 3-4am. How do you offer milk or warm up from the fridge? Especially at night.
As I get closer to my due date, I can’t help but get so emotional when spending time with my son. These are the last few weeks of just him and I am having a hard time with it!! How was it transitioning from 1 to 2 kids? My son will be 2.5 on the due date!
We reckon we'll run out around a week before 12 months, is it okay to swap to cows milk a week early or would it be better to buy a tub of formula?
My son still has bottles of milk in the morning, before nap and before bed. I just can’t stop them! It’s definitely now a comfort thing but he demands them 😭 please no judgement but how do I stop this?!
I’m exclusively breastfeeding at the moment, but I’d like to have some bottles so my husband can feed my baby (5 weeks old) if I want a break or if I need to go out or be away for an evening. I’ve tried to express milk but it takes me 3 sessions to have 2 oz.. so I was thinking of buying some ready made formula to u...
Hi all! How did you get Pepti on prescription? We have been referred for suspected cows milk allergy but are not being seen until January. Our GP isn’t sure if he can prescribe pepti if an allergy hasn’t been diagnosed yet, so we have bought it over the counter instead. January is obviously a long wait so we are ki...
Just wondering how parents of Aptamil Anti-reflux milk managed to prepare for feeding on the go? My understanding is that it needs to be prepared fresh each time and fed straight away as it becomes thicker the longer it stands, so making up a feed to feed within a two hour time period may not work if you’re out and...
