UK MUMS

Does anyone here use Mamia formular? I'd like to do a day trip out to the beach, and ideally, I'd like to use premade formlar so it's easier but they don't sell this brand. Has anyone used any and their baby has been fine? I've heard that aptamil is similar?

Nappy bin

What is everyone using for a nappy bin? I've got the Tomme Tippee twist nappy bin and I'm finding it a real pain. I hate it for these reason: 1) My little boy is so wriggly at the moment I can't take my eye off him for a second to even put the nappy in the bin and do the twisty thing. 2) It gets full up very quick...

Has anyone changed from bassinet to pram seat yet?

My little girl seems far too small for the pram seat, she's 15.8lbs so I'm hesitant to change her over. But she's pulling her head up in the bassinet trying to sit up. She can sit for 10- 15 seconds unaided at the moment. She wanted to sit up this afternoon in the bassinet so I sat her up and she managed to stay sit...

Baby carrier/wrap recs?

Recommendations or favorites? I like the idea of a simple washable wrap but curious what folks have liked best (esp. in the context of being on foot in NYC!)

XL? Pushchair recommendations

Hi ladies! Can anyone recommend a large buggy - If that's a thing! My 7 month old is 99th centile - over 11kg and in 12-18 month clothing (😭💔) He has practically outgrown the 6+ month pram attachment from Ickle Bubba Stomp Luxe travel system so probably going to have to buy a new one. I've seen a couple that go…

Travel systems

I’m really struggling to decide between the cybex Gazelle S, Oyster 3 and the Ocarro. The Ocarro the only thing I dislike is the handle as it felt really plastic and I could see the glue holding it together! Any recommendations would be amazing

Grandparents car seat recommendations

I’m sure this has been asked often but I am looking for recommendations for a car seat that could be put in my MIL car for use once a week that is easy to put in and remove. It would be in use from age of 9 months+ so needs to be RF but doesn’t have to be ISOfix, but her car can take it. I have a fixed base car sea...

New baby

Hey guys, I’m pregnant with baby number 2 and I was just wondering which baby carrier you had and if you’d buy/use again? We had the baby bjorn one but didn’t think it was great, not sure why. I have my eye on the momcozy Artipoppe dupe, but has anyone else used this? Want it from newborn. Also, breast pumps?! I n...

Car suggestions

So my car just died. I'm so sad because I loved it to pieces but it was a long time coming. Was a 1992 Toyota Camry Wagon. All my cars have been from the 80s, 90s and I'm a big fan of that aesthetic but unfortunately with all the costs that come with kids can't risk having to spend the big money on old car problems....

Washing baby’s clothes

What are people using to wash baby’s clothes? I normally use gel, fabric softener and scent boosters and was planning on getting fairy non bio - should we stay away from fabric softener and scent boosters and only use gel/pods etc?

Cradle cap

I found some cradle cap on the top of my daughter’s head. We used dentinox when she had it before and it did help, however it made her scalp bright red and seemed to sting her eyes too, so I’m wondering if there’s something a bit gentler that also works? We’ve been using a very gentle soap prescribed by the GP to wa...
