Congratulations on your new preemie! I wouldn’t get caught up on possible dates going home. I had a planned csection at 35 weeks because of a rare complication. I was admitted at 30 weeks and saw multiple specialists for the 5 weeks I was in the hospital before her birth. Before she was born they told me to expect for her to be in the ISCN or NICU till at least her due date possibly even weeks after(which would be at least 5 weeks in the hospital). She was only in the ISCN for 12 days!

Congratulations! There’s a 34 week preemie group in Facebook that I found to be super helpful. My LO (34+3 no complications or breathing tube) stayed in the NICU for a total of 17 days. I know how difficult it is, but trust me she’s in the best of hands.

Huge congratulations. My little boy was born at 34 weeks exactly in October 2020 and was in for 30 days. He had no breathing issues but had desats and took time to learn to breastfeed. It’s so so hard but it does get easier once you get into your rhythm. He’s now 14 months and eating us out of house and home, 75th centile for real age and 99th for height. I had my little boy at 32 weeks, they said to aim for him being in til his due date...he was actually home after 17 days!!! Good luck she's beautiful x

Congratulation mama! My little one was full term but my Labor took too long and she drunk some fluid and lost oxygen so was at the Hospital for a week after birth I totally understand that feeling I was pouring in tears the first night that I have to go home and let my little one in there but at the same time I new she was in the best hands !!! Praying for an absolute and normal growing of your little one! That the lungs mature completely so you can take it at home completely healthy! Hipe u are ok too! It's not easy be at the Hospital after birth so make sure u keep your legs up and have some rest next to u bb!
Also take everything one minute at a time as things rapidly change and to have a good support system ready to help and comfort you!!!
