When you notice they have started to bring their wind up themselves x

My started burping herself around 6/7 months x

I stopped once she started sitting up more and I could hear that she was bringing it up on her own x

My son started burping on his own at 5/6 months so we just stopped then. It’s usually when they start sitting etc as that brings the wind up 🤍😊

When you start giving them solids at 6 months usually

I’m pretty sure it’s normally 4-6 months but it’s kind of whenever you notice they don’t need help anymore

Babies have the ability to burp. My son has been burping since his first day of life without help. Breastfed babies don’t need to be burped as often because they don’t get air like bottle fed babies do. Burping can also be worse for babies with reflux. It can force the reflux up. If my son is uncomfortable I’ll help him get a burp out, but generally we don’t burp.

Idk he always burped himself

When they start burping on their own. My daughter was like 6mo

I stopped when I noticed she was burping on her own, I think she was like 5 months if I remember right

@Jade and @Alice can you go into more details about this? I EBF and used to burp my LO from birth to around the time he could lift his own head. Would love to learn what you guys know for my second

I’d either set him up or wiggle him around a bit he was in nicu for 2 weeks and the dr showed us and also was saying how burping the baby patting them on the back at times can mess with oxygen flow
