String in babies poop?
My LB is nearly 7 months, he had some prunes yesterday and an Ella’s kitchen katsu curry pouch for tea. An hour after he threw it all up. His been having his bottles perfectly since no problems there at all. I changed his nappy this morning and he had diarrhoea and again about 20 mins ago after his breakfast he had diarrhoea again but I noticed some stringy bits. I’ll attach a photo. Does anyone know what this is? I think maybe his tea last night just didn’t agree with him! He is perfectly fine and doesn’t seem unwell or anything?

@Sarah harden maybe a few days ago! He has alot of banana porridge etc too
@Sarah harden his had quite alot of prunes in the past 2 days as he was a bit constipated
there is your answer then my love! considering he was constipated the prunes have done its job
@Kya oh amazing!! He kept having hard poos and struggling so I gave him prunes in his porridge and a prune pouch! So glad it’s nothing to worry about
Banana can make stringy poos. It can be alarming but just know for future that if he has banana he may have strings in his poop 🙈
Prunes cause flush outs so should be fine after this :-)
