I’ve had the implant for about 8 months now and I’ve gained so much weight and keep having constant headaches. Has anyone tried the coil? How does it compare? I was on the pill for years before and I’m not sure if that was the better option as I didn’t have any side effects apart from falling pregnant because I forgot to take it 😂😂
Hey! I’ve been on the coil for almost 2 years now, I got it fitted around 16 weeks pp. I absolutely love it!! It’s so nice not being able to think about anything. I’m on the copper coil so there’s no hormones, just simply deters the sperm away 🤣 my periods are like clockwork and were only a bit heavier the first couple months and then they were back to normal again. I’d definitely recommend it! Getting it fitted wasn’t too painful, it’s just a bit crampy. I explained I was nervous about it so I was given pain killers beforehand and they used a numbing spray too.
