Pros: More absorbent than disposables, we never run out of nappies (if we wash them routinely which we do), rare that LO has nappy rash, lots of options of different types. Cons: They need washing. We do a nappy wash every one or two days so it adds to the never ending washing! The outer covers shouldn’t be exposed to direct sunlight so you need somewhere to dry indoors; the nappies themselves can dry wherever and are tumble dryable (depending on which ones you get). As LO has grown the nappies have started to mark his skin - they fit, just don’t flex with him as he moves. We use Little Lambs velcro ones; it may be different using ones with poppers. We chose these because they are more adjustable and we like that the liners are bamboo and hemp plus there are different ones for night and day. They do take up a fair bit of room (a large drawer here). Have a look at the nappy lady - UK based but you can fill out the assessment for advice on which ones might suit best.

Also, we do use disposables at times eg when going out. Reusable much better for overnight and while at home, or if going somewhere we can’t easily change LO such as a long dog walk.

If kiddo goes to daycare be careful not all daycares will do cloth

I have WAY more pros than cons tbh Pros: prints are cute AF. No running out. Buy once. Can be passed onto the next 2 kids if washed properly. No blowouts no leaks and if they do leak just change fibres or add another insert. No filling up bins, no stinky bins. Saves 6000 diapers from landfill per kid. Usually will use cloth wipes as well Cons: big outlay. Needs to learn wash routine. May be inconvenient when out but I also use them when out also I just bring wetbags w me. Trial and error esp for nights or for next kid what works for one may not work for another, so a bit of trial and error

They have diaper service you can get. Basically they do the laundry. You could try it out that way and see what you think.
