@S wowww, love this for me …😂 Thanks for sharing. Will keep you updated
Hey there, I do two daily on the belly. I actually started last week Friday and tonight I trigger! Today is day 8 for me. I did one this morning for the stim (an extra dose) as that’s what the nurse had me do. And do two injections tonight at midnight. One trigger and one pregnyl then I do the second dose of trigger tomorrow noon. Egg retrieval is on Monday. I also don’t like needles and I most certainly don’t look forward to those transfer injections on the butt. We got this! Sending you lots of positive vibes and lots of baby dust!!
Also wanted to add tips that help me a little. I always put some lidocaine on the area about 20 mins before and an ice pack. It helps a lot!!
I think it depends on height and weight, and how much eggs they want you to produce for how much injectables you take. I did an IUI, but they put me on IVF meds to have a better control of my cycle and egg production. I did one injectable a day at night. That one - painless. My husband is diabetic, and my pen and his pen were identical. I think I did that for….10 days (it depends on your cycle)? Then the trigger shot, I had tried two different ones…one (HUGE) single shot stuck above the butt, then another cycle I did two shots stuck on either side of my belly button (pain wise not too bad).
I believe I had 2 shots on the belly for roughly 10 days and then the trigger shot. Once I did the transfer, I had to do progesterone shot daily on the butt which was the worst of them all. If transfer is successful, you will continue the progesterone shots for another 1+ months depending on your doctor
For me, 2 injections on the belly once a day for about 10 days. Then on the last 2 days, add another shot on the buttock (trigger shots). Here comes the fun part, when you’re ready to transfer and it’s successfully, during your first trimester, you will be injecting on the buttock (with the same big needle you used for the trigger shots). I hated those, my butt cheeks were sore from the daily shots. Lol You’ll do great. Good luck! 😊
