Thank you @Sophie and @Krystina and congratulations to you both. It was our consultant that suggested this as apparently we are an unusual case. I'm in two minds about it as I don't think I can go through another failure but there is a high chance that this will be the result
It makes sense to try mild to avoid unnecessarily stimulating your body. You have whatever follicles you have rather than pumping your body to find eggs that’s arent there! Good luck
@Tracey just listened to BFN podcast where this very prestigious doctor talks about how mild IVF (short protocol) is better for women's health as too much oestrogen in conventional IVF can be more damaging to the women's health longer term. I've had both long and short protocols and neither worked but after hearing this podcast I think I will be opting for short protocols from now on
