Looking for some hope after failed first IUI

AF has just arrived at 12 days post insemination from first IUI. I took gonal-f injections and trigger shot pre-IUI and duphaston tablets (progesterone) post IUI 3x day. My app is saying my luteal phase is too short at 11 days. For context, I am 37, have mild endometriosis and have been trying for 19 months without any success. Was diagnosed with unexplained infertility as both my husband’s and my tests results came back with very positive results. I am starting to lose hope. I know IUI is only 20% chance at best, just so disappointed.

Don't lose hope. I am on my 2nd IUI and currently 13dpiui and still testing negative. So I think i'm out again. If this IUI fails, im moving on to IVF. I heard that your chances increase with every IUI you do.

I'm surprised they said you're unexplained when you have endometriosis. IUI generally has a lower success rate, though it had the best success rate over 6 tries. Did you stop progesterone or did your bleed start while you were on it? Ever considered having autoimmune testing done?

Hi i have had 3 iui failures and one IVF ended in miscarriage....we also have been diagnosed as unexplained infertility.all of us tend to lose hopes...But don't there is light at end of every tunnel 😊stay calm and hope for the best 🤞🏽

I’ve so been there - Endometriosis (4 failed IUI) and each wait is so hopeful and hard. Honestly wish I’d jumped to IVF sooner. I was also able to take time off work and got a higher number of eggs in my 4th round than the other 3 combined. Don’t underestimate the power of reducing stress. Some financial strain but so worth jumping to IVF - first transfer took! 9w pregnant. You got this mama ❤️

@Ju congratulations🥰,my first IVF transfer failed was 70 % of chance to conceive , the quality of embryo was C-C. I am so confident the second one will be successful. We never can lose the hope in the life.

That is amazing! Congrats @Ju! Really lovely to hear the success stories especially those in the same position as me with endometriosis! ❤️ Best of luck @Andreia with your second transfer! Fingers crossed for you! 🤞🏼
