It sounds like your HCG is still pretty much doubling every two days and the tests are very dark. I think you’re pretty damn pregnant.
@MJ thank you for the reassurance! So is late implantation possible in ivf or very uncommon?
Late implantation I think is relatively uncommon but is still possible in ivf. But I don’t think that is the case with you. It takes 3-4 days for implantation post transfer then a couple of days thereafter to get measured in blood. So I don’t think that is the case with you. I think frozen transfers are slightly more prone. But that wasn’t the case with you. I think you just had your bloods super early. I’ve read studies that say a beta-hcg of 5-10 5 days post transfer is a good sign of successful outcomes. I think 4 is also fine. Just remember it’s a tiny cluster of cells at that stage secreting a hormone; they need to grow and replicate: Either way it’s looking good for you! Hoping it all works out for the best!!!
@MJ thank you so much for the detailed responses 🙏🏼!! I hope your fertility journey is successful too ❤️❤️❤️
It looks very promising to me. Numbers are perfect and tests look amazing too.
Everyone’s ‘base’ hcg is different. What this means is we know non pregnant women have a level below 5, but once pregnant it’s the doubling that matters, i.e. If you start from 1 versus someone from 2 that’s already 2-3 days difference, not necessarily due to ‘late implantation’! So rest assured you are definitely pregnant and only scans can tell you more info now. All the best!!
Dye stealer on your tests. Looks good, just have to wait and see til your scan now. Day 6 beta hcg is good at 4 and doubling in 48 hours also good. Now it’s the waiting game. And I can tell you from personal experience even the next scan and the next blood test still doesn’t ease the worry. It’s there all the time for me. But try relax and enjoy this time as much as you can!!! Try and keep positive and look after yourself!! Wouldn’t do any more tests either now: once you have a dye stealer they can’t tell you any more information for level of Beta-hcg. And in fact as they get higher and higher your test may get lighter due to the hook effect. Congrats and good luck!
